"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Day Three on our Journey to Florida (Part 3)

After Liberty we headed 20 mins down the road to Independence, MO.
The first thing we saw was the R-LDS temple. I don't know about you but it was an awkward eye soar to me. But then we came up the beautiful visitors center with gorgeous landscaping. As we walked in you heard the primary songs being played outside over the speakers.

Inside we were greeted by more senior and sister missionaries. They took us on a tour of the new family video which was neat because you went to different rooms for different parts of the video. By that time Cinch was restless so they took him to a room they said he would love and well he did.

They had this cute little covered wagon- which they were impressed Cinch knew what to do and wanted to do, a little cabin to play in and stuff to pack in the wagon.

They also had a gallery walk of the new "Reflections of Christ" pictures that came out. It was even better to see the pictures huge and on the wall than just on the tv screen. I love this one and the happiness on his face after getting baptized.

Then we went on another tour that talked about Independence- that saint living the law of consencration, the printing press and Joseph Smith.

(They have gathered what would have been in the printing press exactly- even a million little letters.)

Cinch was fascinated by this statue of Joseph and kept talking to it and playing with his boots.

"An original BOM"

We left the visitors center and found some where to stay for the night.
