This morning we hit the road and left Clarksville, Tennessee headed for Nashville. We got into Nashville and toured around via vehicle. And decided on our way home that we needed to go at night so we could see all the new musicians and little shops in action. We jumped back on the interstate and headed for Georgia. Atlanta being 4 hours away. We made really good time until we were almost to Chattanooga, TN and spent and hour going 15 miles. ANGRY! And the worst part was we lost precious driving time while Cinch was asleep. So add an extra hour to make it 5 to Atlanta.

(Crossing the Georgia State Line)

(For you Heber boys that Atlanta Braves Stadium-- we knew you just wanted to see it j/k)
We got through downtown Atlanta pretty quick considering it was rush hour- but outside of it we lost another hour of driving time-- anger again.
But we pushed onward. Our only 2 stops today was a rest stop in northern Georgia and outside of Macon, Georgia for a quick dinner and gas.

The best part of the day-- Crossing the FLORIDA line. We are on the home stretch! We stopped in Gainsville, FL (Home of the Gators) for the night. Only about 2 1/2 hours in the truck tomorrow. Cinch is going to love it!

We are now on Eastern time- so 2 hours ahead of all you folks back home- also we probably won't have the Internet for a few days while we are getting everything set up so if you need us call! Hope everything is good back home and yes the HUMIDITY found us.

Wow!!! What an adventure driving to Florida! Hopefully all is well now that you are there. Glad to see that you made the travel fun to stop and see church history and exhibits. Be safe and have fun in the humidity! I love Florida!
How fun! I hope you guys arrived safely. The boys liked the picture of the stadium. I am laughing because we saw the same three crosses when we were going to Wisconsin. Jared kept saying it was the "KKK"!
