Daniel headed out Monday - Friday for a training in Florida. He was excited to be back in the sunshine. I had really wanted to go with but it didn't work out finding a babysitter for the boys.
Daniel had gotten most of the chores done Monday morning so we didn't have too much to do that afternoon. The rest of the week consisted of getting Cinch up to the bus in the morning, coming back and loading up in the tractor and feed truck and being out for most of the day. We had 2 herds to take care of while he was gone- and it didn't get above 0* all week with the wind chill.
The nice part of being busy was that the days went by fast. Having Cinch is school made feeding much easier.
Tuesday night the kids' horse Mike died. That was pretty dramatic for Cinch he had a hard time dealing with it.
The boys really enjoyed skyping with Daniel at night which made bedtime easier.
Friday we were all excited Daniel was coming home. His flights all came in as planned which was awesome. Chauncey loved seeing the airplane and most of all Daniel getting off.
We got back just in time to get Cinch from the bus, I think everyone on the bus heard his excitement that his dad was home.
