Months like this make me miss living close to family, ALOT. It's been a buys February for my side of the family. 3 get-together.
The month started out with Dylan's Baptism on Saturday the 1st.
Sunday, the 2nd, was followed up by Gable James' Blessing Day.
And the 15th, my nephew Hayden returned from serving a 2 year mission in Taiwan, with his homecoming talk and brunch today the 23rd.
These sort of events always make me a little more homesick than usual. It's hard to believe we are coming up on our 4th year anniversary of living in Nebraska. Nebraska is total "fly over" state. At Air Rush hour, we can easily count 10+ planes above us making their way to different destination. Being a flyover state was finally fun the evening of the 15th. My brother had sent me Hayden's itinerary and we were able to track his plane from Detroit to SLC. We zoomed in to see when it was close to our town and ran outside to look North for "his" plane. It was almost dark, and I was worried we wouldn't see it, and then Daniel spotted it. The only plane out that night. It was fun to see Cinch's excitement for a cousin he doesn't know that well, to be coming home from a mission. It made my heart happy to track that silly plane on the computer until it touched down in SLC. I'm sure my family thought I was crazy calling with the updates- but I was apart of his homecoming as much as you can be from 11 hrs away.
