Anna Lee's Baptism

The weekend of the 22nd, we headed back down to Colorado for Bill's/ Our good friend Anna Lee's Baptism. It was an early wake up call of 3:30, luckily we had extra drive time because the snow storm gave us limited visibility but we made it safe and sound.

I gave the baptism & confirmation talk, played the piano for Bill & Laurie to sing, and then Bill baptized her. There was such a sweet spirit in the room. Many of her friends of different faiths, and people from the ward attended.

After we went out to brunch at a local cafe. We left the boys with Tim, Laurie, Bill & Anna Lee and headed to the temple. Traffic was horrific and took forever to get down to the temple, but it was worth it. After a quick Sams Club trip we made it back to everyone for a yummy dinner cooked by Anna Lee.

We spent the night and the next morning had breakfast burritos and got ready for church.

Daniel confirmed Anna Lee a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was awesome. After sacrament meeting we headed out. We were so grateful to be part of such a special weekend. The only sad news to report, Bill's moving to Wisconsin- no more fun weekend visits.
