We had a BLAST at our Ranch Christmas Party this year. Since the majority of the cows are gone for the winter, the General Manager wanted us to have an awesome party, they took us to Rapid City to a place with go carts, bumper cars, laser tag, indoor paint balling, batting cages.... It was awesome. Then we also stayed over night in a hotel attached to WaTiki Water Park . Seriously was some of the most fun had by all ages. The kids had a blasts, grown ups had a blast! It was amusing to see the cowboys racing up to the slides as fast at the kids. It was a get away our sad hearts needed at the time and it didn't hurt it was all paid for. We feel blessed to be here in Nebraska the ranch family we have here and the general manager who takes care of us all.
It wouldn't be a trip to Rapid City, with out going to Rushmore. Cinch LOVES to go. Most people see it once and then never go again, we go every time we are in the neck of the woods.
Cinch took this picture, I love it!
On the way home, we went on an old scenic highway Melissa had told us about, that they went on a few weeks earlier. It had amazing one car tunnels, "piggy back" bridges and was amazing that it had held up over the years and made before modern engineering.
And a drive through our "Yellowstone" the Windcave Park. The Elk were back, we hadn't seen them before, but the buffalo were also prepping for winter.
