"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Christmas Day 2010

Christmas Morning coming down the stairs.
Luckily not til 7, my eyes still weren't ready to be awake.
He was so excited to see presents under the tree.
There hadn't been any gifts under the tree until Christmas Morning.
Starting the opening of presents.
He went crazy and loved unwrapping them all.
Cinch got a "real" Woody, Bullzeye and Buzz from Santa
I didn't get a picture of his eyes when he realized what was under the wrapping paper but it was priceless.
He also received a bike from us.
He was anxious to get on a take it for a spin around the house.
What would we do with out Skype?
It's a lifesaver when you live away from family-
so grateful for modern technology to share our lives with our families

Christmas Morning was Wonderful!
Cinch gets more fun every year. He understood who Santa was this year, that we celebrate Baby Jesus, and of course--- opening presents!

After presents were opened the whirlwind began again.
Daniel left to feed cows & calves.
I took down our Christmas tree (it was far too dead to leave in the house for a week)
finished packing clothes
Packed the truck,
and I'm sure other things
but we were out the door at 11 to start the 10 hr drive to Utah
We had planned to go Sunday,
but the roads weren't going to be good
so out the door Christmas Day we flew
We were ready to see family and be away from work for awhile.

Cinch did really great on the drive. He only watched 2 movies.
He was too busy playing with Buzz & Woody!
This was his first trip back home potty trained.
No accidents- but he went far too much for as much as he was allowed to drink.
My back had been giving me fits for the last 2 weeks,
but luckily after many Chiropractor appointments
I survived the long ride in the truck. Luckily Daniel got us there in 9.5 hrs.
and the drive is ALWAYS worth it when you are greeted like this!
A hectic Christmas, yes- but still one to remember.
