Presentation & Preparation

I cook alot for the cowboys out here on the Ranch.
With all the recipes I keep compiling from family & friends-
The cowboys LOVE my food
I feel bad, that some tell me to tell their wives how to cook

One thing I usually lack is my Presentation Skills
When I cook for the cowboys I am usually in a HUGE rush
Luckily my mom taught me to cook ahead-
If if can be frozen cook it ahead.
Which saves me from not pulling out all the hair on my head,
when 12 Cowboys are due in 30 minutes and I'm not even close to being ready.

So when preparing for Thanksgiving I took both into consideration.
We were anxiously looking forward to Daniel's whole family coming out for Thanksgiving break.
So I didn't want to be cooking when we should be having fun & making memories.

So the week before Turkey Day- I whipped up
6 dozen Cinnamon Rolls & 8 Dozen Dinner Rolls

BUT
I actually took the time to make them "LOOK" as good as they taste.

And well-
After that much work, you have to document it.

Hi Dan and Jessie May, I saw the link to your blog on Taylor and Krista's blog and thought I'd say hello. It looks like you are enjoying life on the Nebraska Ranch! We have Sarah and Jake Burch here now, they came here from Nebraska a month or so ago and are a great couple too. Cinch is really growing up and it looks like both of you enjoy being able to work with your husband. Your cooking looks great- no wonder the cowboys like to come eat at your house! Pat Payne in FL
