Last Friday was my birthday. It was a big one..
I am now 25 whole years old
It's odd to me that I am really that old, I still feel 20. I think the fact that I am 25 affected my parents and siblings more than me, If I'm that old.... They are REALLY old!
My birthday - was filled with 12 cowboys - that I cooked for.
We were preg checking our mature cows (900 head). When they set up the Preg Checking schedule- Daniel said I could either have him home with 11 other cowboys, or have him gone 6am til 8pm. So I opted for the extra mouths, and they were full of teasing more than anything.
Most couldn't believe that I was only 25, don't know if that is a good or bad thing- but my cooking surpasses my age, so I'll take that compliment.
Our foreman Mitch, brought me some flowers to help me feel like it was my birthday.
For Breakfast, the cowboys got egg/ham mcmuffins and loved them! The Ranch Manager told me it was the best Breakfast Snack he had ever had!
For lunch I spoiled them and cooked them my birthday meal!
The Menu Consisted of
My Aunt Barbara's YUMMY Chicken Pot Pie
Rolls
Green Salad (Yes most cowboy's will eat it, just not my husband)
Jello Salad
and of Course
German Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream for dessert.
It was a long day- of working & cooking- but was still more exciting to celebrate with 12 cowboys, than being home by myself!
Thank You Family Members for your well Wishes & Packages in the Mail!

Hooray you 25 year old! Hope you did enjoy your b-day. We were thinking of you. Wish we could fly right over and be with you but it just isn't in the cards yet...
Happy late birthday Jessie Mae! I wish we could have been there to eat your yummy food.
Happy belated birthday! Just think you're not only a 1/4 of a century, but half way to 50, that's the scary part! Miss seeing you at MVVHC, but I always get a kick out of your blogs and adventures!
