Hail Storms

Nebraska has some pretty wicked hail storms now and then, they usually come with the storms that put us under tornado advisories.
About 2 weeks ago we were outside loading some cows when black clouds started rolling in. We finished the work in the nick of time as the hail started coming. Daniel ran with Cinch to the house as I ran to hurry and park our personal truck in the garage.
It was about ping pong ball size hail that day- we've seen up to golf ball size hail right before memorial day.

After hails storms all you hear on the radio is car dealerships advertising cheap vehicles with small hail damage- they look horrible but you can get a brand new car for super cheap.
The other funny part is driving through town. In Utah & Idaho you see Windshield Repair places everywhere, big shops little shops in parking lots--- In Nebraska you see Hail Damage Shops all over the place.
It's funny how different the weather can be within the same time zone.

I try not to drive during storms like that. I've been in the passenger seat when a hail almost the size of my fist cracked the windshield. It was too scary for me to risk that happening again-- not to mention the price of replacing our windshield.
