Nelson Family Comes to Nebraska

My oldest sister's family came for a quick visit last weekend and boy were we excited. We I told Cinch Carli was coming to visit he was jumping all over the place and the count down began.

They visited Mount Rushmore and a few other places before coming out to the ranch.
We took them out "caking" to the baby calves and toured a little bit of landscape.
But what they really wanted to do was ride horses.
So we saddled up horses and let them ride their hearts out on both Friday Night and Saturday morning.
It was so fun to see them get braver and go fast. They all rode like champs- even Carli.
Cinch loved to show off his riding abilities as well.
Carli taught Cinch trampoline games and Cinch drug her all over the place.

And best of all they brought me an early Birthday Cake- my favorite German Chocolate!!!
It was so yummy!
It was fun to listen to Jami tell the girls about the day I was born. Now they are old enough to understand the age gap of her being a Sophomore in college and at Snow College and not seeing me until Thanksgiving break.
It was a SUPER FUN visit with them all. We Love visitors and so glad they chose to spend their fall break in the middle of nowhere with us!
