Daniel played really well and had a lot of fun. In this picture Daniel is in the brown and the General Ranch Manager is trying to guard him in the blue jacket.
This is a couple plays later when the General Ranch Manager gets his knee blown out- not by Daniel but none the less a little scary.
So after that they moved the littler boys on to their own field. Their game was more entertaining to watch. Not quiet the violence.
Then we came home and had brunch and nap time to prepare for Thanksgiving Dinner. We went to one of the Area Manager's houses. There were 4 families there and they cooked 3 turkeys. ALOT of meat. It was a yummy dinner- a little different than what we are used to but it was nice to eat with some other families. After dinner Cinch went outside to play with the big kids. He held his ground pretty well.
He was so happy to jump. It's been a few months.
And then he spotted those H-O-R-S-E-S in the backyard and wouldn't leave the fence until...
This little guy got loose. He quickly picked up what he decided was a herding stick - most kids would think it was a light saber- to herd this calf around. It was quite the show. He eventually got it back into the pasture on his own without any help. He was proud of himself- quiet the little buckaroo I must say.

I'm glad you guys had a Happy Thanksgiving. The picture of Cinch herding the calf is classic. You need to enlarge that one and put it in his room!
well guys there will not be any ants where you're headed, but if my memory serves me right there are those things that are called chiggers and they are bad little dudes. so please be careful and keep your pant legs down to the ground no shorts or you will pay the price. I did once and it takes a long time to heal but then there is the Eagle Ranch and the Elwood home stead waiting for you all. Love mom and Dad FTAE
