Holes in the Floor

Since we have only a few days left in the non-luxurious intern housing- I would hate to forget how lovely it has been so I thought I would document a few of our holes in the floor. As pictures don't really show the true hole- it will at least help me remember the good times.

This lovely hole would be one of two by the front door. Always walk straight through the door or you may twist your ankle.

This book is assisting in the documentation of the hole by the kitchen table. You have to watch where all four legs of your chair are sitting- or you may get bucked off. It's a deep hole if you can't tell take my word for it.

This would be our washer and dryer- somehow still standing in the trailer. The stick represents the floor height and the then you can see how low the washer and dryer sit. I used to pray the washer would fall through the floor and we could move- but it never happened- I still cry my self to sleep hoping it would happen.

This would be the entrance into our bedroom- this lovely hole covered 3/4 of the doorway- making it very tricky to get up in the dark and not kill yourself by twisting BOTH ankles. The picture does this one no justice at all.

This is one of my favorites. Yes that is a leg of our bed. Sitting about 5" below floor level. You might ask- why not move the bed? Well the Full Bed barely fits in the bedroom and well- it was either this leg of the bed or any of the other 3 would have been in another hole.
Oh sweet trailer I will never miss you- I am only glad none of us have broken our legs- knock on wood.
