Back at the BEACH

Can you sense the excitement in that face??

We finally got back to the beach this weekend! Cinch was so excited- as soon as we pulled into the parking lot and he realized where we were he just kept saying water- water- water. He pretty much ran up the board walk to the stairs where we waited for Daniel to catch up.
It was a really nice- hot day. The beach was packed! We hadn't seen that many people since Labor Day. The waves were super heavy so the surfer dudes were even out. Cinch played and played in the water and really didn't use any of his sand toy but for a few seconds he was just happy to be back at the Beach.


Surfer dudes-- Most of them had on wet suits- whimps. You only need wet suits when the water is under 50*. They would never last back home.

We also went to Orlando Friday night to tour around a little bit- learned our lesson though don't go on a Friday night. The streets were packed and tourists every where. But it was still fun to go. We took a little detour and got to see downtown Orlando. We saw where the Magic (basketball) team play and where the new arena is being built. It will be HUGE!

Sunday was the primary program here at the Ellsworth Ward. Daniel sat with a younger class because his kids were old enough to be by themselves and had lots of parts. He sat by a boy named Bradly. And well I thought Daniel was going to kill Bradly from the last 2 weeks of practice but Bradly behaved well- Cinch had a really hard time with it because 1- he didn't get to go with his dad 2- Why did the other kids get to be up in front 3- he didn't understand that his singing with the primary kids wasn't accepted. But we made it through. So off to another week. Daniel's last week on Unit 7 then he switches to Unit 2 a pure bred unit and is looking forward to the change. Other than that some old' Florida. It was cooler last week(in the low 80's and high 70's) but not this week. It was 90* by 11:00 today. So still enjoying our summer clothes for a few more weeks.
