We made it in time to start our celebrations with family start on the 3rd of July. I love that we celebrate the 4th of July even more than Christmas.
We enjoyed fireworks in Logan. I didn't realize a rope would bring so much entertainment.
The morning of the 4th we were to be to the town celebration around 9 to eat breakfast and participate in the kid parade. I think out bodies were overly exhausted as we didn't hear anyone else leave that morning, and didn't budge until my sisters called to ask if we were doing the parade. While we were sad to miss it, we desperately needed sleep.
We finished the town celebration with candy drop, kids games, cotton candy, snow cone, cheese burgers. And Papa John came away with the trap shoot title for the year, even after a deadly shoot off. The Nelson girls represented us awesome also.
We spent the majoity of the afternoon in Elwood and then went to visit friends in fielding before it got too late. The 5th we had swim lessons and time to play in Elwood before we headed to Hansel Valley for the night and church in Snowville on Sunday.
