Christmas Eve was a chilly but relaxing day. We got all the herds fed in the morning so the afternoon and evening were just left to us.
We had a snow storm on Wed. but by Christmas Eve (Sat) it was almost gone.
We took advantage of the snow before it was gone and did some sledding of the cellar hill.
It was quiet a chilly afternoon but Chauncey was warmly napping indoors while we enjoyed the fresh air.
We also realized we hadn't made our annual Christmas Sugar Cookies,
and Santa was in need of cookies so we cooked some up.
We used powdered sugar instead of flour to roll the dough out... oh it made DELICIOUS
cookies that we didn't even need to frost.
With cookies made and set out for Santa and carrots out for the Reindeer,
we were all in bed by 10:30...
It was wonderful to be prepared!
