Our pictures didn't turn out too bad for the self timer/tripod method.
We had wanted to do them outside- but the week was cold and we needed to get them done to order our Christmas Cards in Time..
But unfortunately our cards got lots by UPS so they are still going out late- but
it was a good push to get family pictures done.
