Christmas Day 2011

Christmas Morning Chauncey was awake at 6:30 but of course Cinch decided to sleep til 7:30. He walked in to our room groggy and we had to ask him what day it was, any other morning he would of asked us if it was Christmas Day yet. Once Cinch realized it was Christmas, I had to hurry down before the boys to catch their excitement of what was under the tree.

Santa SPOILED us all like crazy this year.
It was a very "warm" Christmas as we all received new clothing/boot items to help us survive
the freezing cold Nebraska winter winds. Which made us feel a little silly as it was almost 50*.
Cinch was excited to received a car track, the one thing he asked Santa for and a little people Quarry.
Daniel's big gift was his dream pair of pink top handmade boots
Chauncey received a few toys and a dinosaur towel.
I joyed the technology and apple world with a new Ipad 2!
To my great surprise and delight... even if I have to fight Cinch for time on it.

It was a quick morning as we had to leave by 9 for the drive to church.
It made us grateful church is usually 3 hrs because the 1 hr drive in, 1 hr of church, and 1 hr drive home seemed a little silly, but who could miss church on Christmas Sunday.
After Church we came home to the lovely smell of Ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls and veggies and a "special drink" of apple juice mixed with sprite.
We made it an occasion and pulled out the china. Cinch told us he could use a goblet and he would be "very careful" we told him maybe next year!

After a rest we joined some of the ranch families for a small meal and desserts.

While we missed our families TONS it was nice to just relax in our own home and have Christmas together and make our own memories and traditions.
It was a great Christmas as a family of 4 this year!
