"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Three.. 3.. Tres..

Our Sweet Rowdy... little boy turned 3yrs old on January 3rd!

It's really hard to believe he's that old. Crazy for sure.

Unfortunately his birthday wasn't to calm of a day.
We had just returned from our trip home there was
laundry, taking Christmas down, cleaning the house, feeding and checking cows to do.

We finally pulled it together that night.
I pulled a Toy Story cake together at the last minute,
which wasn't that easy, I ran out of powder sugar-
something I always have in my pantry- but it worked out in the end.

For his birthday he got a few different puzzles to help with his learning, colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet.
Also some new boots- for those ever growing so fast feet
And if you notice he isn't showing me or Daniel his presents-
He was showing Grandma.
We Love Skype (When our internet works)
Unfortunately my parent's internet was down- but Daniel's family was able to celebrate with us.

The cake-
we'll call it a "good try"

But Cinch didn't really mind too much.
We also didn't have any candles.
I know I was SO unprepared.
His birthday & Christmas really need to be split up!
But, Matches, actually burn longer than and candles.
I think we blew out the 'candles' three or four times.
It was a Happy Birthday amongst everything else and
we couldn't imagine our life without our COWBOY!

I was blog surfing and came across your, hope it's I took a peek, I couldn't help not looking at someone's blog that also has the last name Dalton. It's funny everyone I come across with that last name is also in ranching. We have a ranch in southeast Utah. Feel free to look at our blog. It's nice to see that others live a hectic ranch life and are still enjoying it.
