Hagerman/Snowville/ Island Park- Kari Lee Krieger Dalton, 49, passed away January 29, 2011 at home surrounded by her family from colon cancer.
Kari was born April 26, 1961 in Burley, Idaho, the second child to Harvey and Emma Krieger. Kari grew up and attended school in Burley & Kimberly, Idaho where she was very involved in athletics and still holds school records.
Kari married her sweetheart Matthew Richard Dalton June 18, 1981 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Matt and Kari started their life together on the family farm in Hagerman, Idaho. They spent 14 years working together and raising their children there surrounded by their extended family. In 1995 they moved their family to the Snowville Flats and began a new adventure raising cattle & Fox Trotter horses while watching their children grow. After their employers were involved in a tragic accident the family moved to Island Park, Idaho in 2004 where they currently reside managing a guest ranch.
Kari was constantly serving her family- supporting her children in all their different passions and cuddling her grandkids as often as possible. Kari was never afraid of work and trails. She taught her family the importance of the gospel of Jesus Christ, even in her deepest hours of pain and sickness, were teaching moments about the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Kari served faithfully in all callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Serving in the Young Womens program the majority of her life and recently starting the Island Park After-School Mentoring Program.
Our loving wife and mother is survived by her husband Matthew R. Dalton; her children Melissa (Wayde) Stanger, Twin Falls; Daniel (Jesse Mae) Dalton, Lakeside, NE; Kyle, Kalee and Jared Dalton, Island Park; Four Grandchildren, her Parents and Siblings.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 2, 2011 at the Island Park LDS Chapel, Intermediate Services will be held Thursday February 3, 2011 at the Hagerman Cemetery.

We are shocked and saddend to hear of your mothers death. We were praying for the best for her in her fight. Having lost a dad, we share in your heartache and emptyness that will be your companion for a while. Aren't we glad to have them forever?!
