More Pantake Pease

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for Daniel & Cinch at our house. For me, well I could do with out most days. And, a hot breakfast is the only thing allowed at our house- cereal, well they don't like it and will be hungry within an hour after eating it.

The first thing out of Cinch's mouth in the morning is "More Snack Pease"
And so we make our way into the kitchen- and then all I hear is " More Pantake Pease"
and that is what he eats probably 5 days out of the week- he LOVES pancakes- and will usually eat 3 medium to large pancakes.

The funniest morning with pancakes happened last week. Daniel was making Cinch breakfast. Daniel was working on the computer when Cinch asked for "More pantake pease". Daniel mixed up the batter and put a pan on the stove to get warm and went back to finishing his work on the computer while the pan warmed up, Cinch came over very up set and pulled Daniel away from the computer and told him to, "Cook Pantake". The computer work could wait. Daniel put the batter on the pan and turned back around to the computer to finish while the pancake was cooking. He heard a ruckus behind him and turned to find Cinch, with spatula in hand trying to turn the pancakes for him, Dad just wasn't getting the job done fast enough.

So if you wonder what we eat at our house for breakfast- it would be PANTAKES, and you better get them and the syrup cooking fast or the slave driver will kick into action.
