(How many horses can you ride at once?)
A another week in review of the journal/blog entry. Daniel has been very busy at work fixing fences and getting all the calves worked to send them to their greener summer pastures.Tuesday Hazel came to play for a few hours.
Wednesday was Jesse day-kind of. I got my hair cut and colored and even treated myself to a pedicure by my niece that is in beauty school (Thanks Jade!) Ran a few errands and more importantly picked up some sand for Cinch's "Sandbox"
(Not to big- but big enough for Cinch
& more importantly a lid so the dog and cat's stay out)
and Daniel's early Father's Day present- a new grill. We have been looking at grills even since we got married because to Daniel - it is a necessity! We never had room at the cottage and last summer we had one that came with our cabin for our use- so I have been watching the adds and reading reviews for a grill that was in our price range and would last. It was supposed to be for Father's Day but I figured Daniel would be just as excited to get it early and have a few extra weeks to grill on it before we leave to Florida (which is 69 days from now CRAZY).

Thursday it was our turn for FHE group- which doesn't have to be on a Monday in our lives. And the BBQ worked like a charm- Daniel was jumping for joy to have a reason to use the grill)
Friday we were able to go help our friends(Jake & Susan) get their cow/calves ready to send to Malad for summer pasture. It's always a great day if you are horse back- and even better when we are together doing it. The semi's were a little late so we weren't able to finish helping before we ran to Logan for a Celebration for my older brother Jordan who got the promotion-- a long drawn out process. To celebrate we all met up on the quad for some pizza- ice cream bars- room for the kids to play- and good company. Congrats Jordan!! Before we left for Logan Daniel told me to grab my make-up bag and some clothes because we were spending the night- where I didn't know- confusion... and he wouldn't give me anymore details which isn't good I NEED TO KNOW everything. Well Daniel disappeared during the little get together- more confusion- to put Cinch's car seat and diaper bag in my sister's van because he was taking me away for the night! YEA!!! Surprise and yet more confusion because this is not something that is really up Daniel's ally. We went to SLC and used a gift certificate to stay at the Anniversary Inn (don't worry the gift certificate is almost 3 years old and was about to expire in July).
Saturday he took me to some western stores in SLC and then to the outlets in Park City- all in all fun but didn't spend too much time. Too many people and too much time spent shopping is bad for my health. We drove back to Logan to pick up our little Cinch- who looked like he didn't miss us one bit. He had the Nelson girls' attention for any little thing. Thanks Jami-Gordon- and Girls for watching him. Sunday was a normal day in Nursery a few kiddos were gone which isn't always a bad thing. We also kept with Family Tradition and went a put flowers on our family member's graves and everyone came back to the house to visit and have some cake and ice cream.
It was a GREAT week! Time spend with family, friends and our first getaway since our honeymoon.

Way to go Daniel! That is awesome! I heart Cinch's sandbox a lot :) And what is this about 60 something days.... we NEED to do something before you leave, thats all.
Love,
Face
I love Cinch's sandbox! When I scrolled down and saw it I started to giggle. Good thinking Jess. Well you two are sure good to each other. The grill looks great and a weekend alone is always a good thing:)
