April and May were engulfed in school. Daniel finishing projects, finals, lectureships and preparing for his summer internship in Arizona.
Jesse Mae still adjusting to her very rowdy and rambunctious school class.
Cinch finishing 1st grade at the public Bishop Primary school- but wanting to go to St. Paul every day at drop off.
Chauncey doing okay at daycare. Some days drop offs were easy- other days they were heart wrenching.
If Daniel wasn't around in the morning, from 7:15-7:40 were hectic.
Leave the house, Drop Chauncey off at day care, open my classroom, prepare early morning seat work, then drive Cinch to public school, pick shortest drop off lane possible, drive back to my school and arrive just as students were coming for the day.
The weekends we tried to play as much as possible and we knew the summer months we would be apart for weeks at times.
We enjoyed a few last play dates at the beach and Mathis' pool before the second-year student departed for their new jobs, and first-years departed for internships.
