Santa found us at Grandma Dixie & Papa John's home Christmas morning.
The boys woke up about 7:30 and were ready to open presents. We were excited to share the morning with mom and dad since it had been a few years since any little kids were there on Christmas morning. It had snowed through the night which made it a White Christmas.
We left Elwood to head to Grandma & Grandpa Krieger's home for dinner and more family time. The road were not good, but we made it safely. Daniel had not been there for Christmas dinner in 12 years, and I had never celebrated Christmas there either. It was yummy food and even better family time. It was mainly Daniel's siblings, a couple cousins and an aunt Susy and uncle Todd. After dinnner and present time the games commenced. This is a game family. It was a memorable night of charades, headbands and other games. It was fun to see the Dalton boys wrestle. It has moved down another generation as 6 of the 8 grandchildren are boys and are big enough to rough house a bit.
