This year interns for the ranch have been very sparse. We were getting 1 intern from BYU-I, and then a local retired man was supposed to help us calve as well. The local guy fell through so our GM was on the look out. He asked if we had anybody we could think of- and I had the idea of halving Bubba and Annie come out and help for at least a month if not more.
We'll they agreed at spent 5 weeks with us out here in Nebraska living in the bunkhouse. The boys were in heaven. And the extra set of hands with Daniel being so busy was greatly appreciated.
Cinch loved to go with Bubba as much as Daniel. And Annie was able to learn lots about ranching and cows calving, probably more than she wanted.
Bubba & Annie had to get back to Idaho and their life back there and left this morning. Our boys were pretty sad to see them go. Our house is quite without having people to visit and play with. We're so grateful they were able to come and help. Calving would of been a train wreck without them. It was a blissful 5 weeks of "living by" family again.
