"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Day 8

Today ended up being a very long day.
I think we are all getting very anxious to get back home, it's been a week now.
Daniel wan't able to hang out with us all day.
Daniel didn't get home until 7 pm again.
The country folk are getting sick of the city folk...

We did have some fun this morning and went to reading time at the zoo.
They read a funny book about a Chameleon and then had a bearded dragon for the kids to see. Played some games and were able to see and touch some other reptile fossils.
It was a fun 45 minutes.
We did the "drive" of the zoo again and came back to the hotel to work on laundry.
Daniel's work clothes from the feedlot... STINK... I've made him keep them in the box in the back of the truck, with his work boots too. But today we had to conquer the stink.

The kids and I went swimming this afternoon- and then after waiting til 6 to hear from Daniel we ran to Wal-Mart to look at toys. I did score some clearance clothes for Cinch that I was excited about.
Dinner at Wendy's.... I can't wait to eat real food again!

Daniel and the boys went swimming again later tonight- mainly so Daniel could wash off the 1st layer of stink in the pool. Cinch has always been a fish, but he is swimming underwater so well and being able to "save" himself and not rely on us so much.
