"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Easter 2009

Well the past two weeks have been pretty busy with our family. Daniel's semester is coming done to a close which means test, projects and more tests. He is just being a busy college student. We have also been working outside alot, raking leaves, mowing lawns, cleaning barns & the garage.

We did have a great Easter this year. It started with the Elwood 1st annual Easter egg hunt 2 Saturdays ago. Cinch had a great time and after we showed him to pick up the eggs and put them in his basket he got the job done.

This past weekend we were busy travelers. Friday night I went with Daniel to one of his required performances "Bye Bye Birdie". Which was fabulous. When we got home from there we took off for Twin Falls, ID. Leaving Elwood at 11:00pm and arriving at 1:20am. Cinch did great on the drive - well because he was asleep until the last 10 minutes. He woke up- wide awake and took about another hour to fall back to sleep.

Saturday we got up and headed the the Dalton Family Reunion/Easter Party in Bliss, Id. It was fun to see everyone and show Cinch off- most of them had never seen him before. Cinch did well with the Easter egg hunt but this time wanted to kick them like a ball or throw them. We had yummy dutch oven lunch and then headed further north to Hammett, Id. to see Mikki one of my best friends. She had just had a new little baby girl, MaKaylee two weeks earlier that I wanted to go see and just visit them all. MaKaylee is a doll and looks just like her mama. I forgot how little babies are- Cinch is not a baby any more. Dustin, their older boy, took care of Cinch for the afternoon with tractors and rides on his little motor powered Gator- Cinch was sad to leave. It was a great visit to see where they live and to see the little kids. We spent that night in Bliss.

Sunday morning we got up and went to church with grandma Dalton. Daniel was excited because he hadn't been to that ward since he was 10 yrs old and was excited to show me his old stompin' grounds as a little kid. After Church we headed back to Twin Falls/Kimberly to the Krieger Family Easter Party. We had a yummy lunch and the Easter bunny found Cinch yet again twice more. He is truly spoiled. It was a great afternoon to bask in the sun and visit. Would have been nicer if Cinch would have took a nap- but everything can't be perfect. We headed back home Sunday night and we were all VERY happy to finally be out of the car and home. Cinch ran downstairs to make sure all of his toys were here and kept doing laps between his horse and balls and laying on the floor. It was a great Easter weekend.
