What a wonderful Thanksgiving week we had. Cinch had the whole week off and Daniel had to go in Monday and Tuesday but to top it off we had our house full of visitors!
We picked Bubba and Annie up at the San Antonio airport Monday afternoon. The boys were so excited to see family. We went and saw the river walk and Alamo before heading south, and met up with cousin Sarah.
The beach occupied most of our time. The Stanger's met up with us Wednesday afternoon, it was windy and not the warmest but the kids still braved the water. Friday we played for hours at the beach and the kids enjoyed the sun and were sad to leave.
Not every year you can eat Thanksgiving dinner outside, so we took advantage of it. Elder Green and Elder Flores ate with us also.
During Thursday and Friday nights we played minute to win it games and also bingo.
We also toured the King Ranch visitor center, Connor museum, King Ranch Saddle Shop. Daniel showed them around the university and his office. We ate true Mexican food and sent them off with the Whataburger experience.
It's hard to even explain how excited we were to have family visit us! It was hard to see them go Saturday afternoon, but luckily Christmas vacation was only a month away.
