It's been nice to have our cows home and prepping for calving.
They are on a full feeding of hay daily, 25-30 pounds of hay per cow/per day. A lot of tractor time.
Luckily Chauncey loves tractor time, but more than that he loves cow time. He loves to walk through them and especially be a horse back moving them with the dogs.

Brother time. Cinch is always good to take Chauncey for a ride when he gets done with the work.
Cinch has been moved up to a 2 horse string herd. Mike is getting older and can't go as hard and long and Cinch for two days in a row, so now he has Nick (the gray horse) and his second mount in crime.

Your pictures make me homesick. We miss getting to work cows and feeding and Nebraska in general.
