A Trip Back "Home"

Back in March me and the boys had planned on spending an extra week in Utah with family, and it just didn't end up working out. So we rescheduled for the first week in April. Cinch had part of the week off of school and most of the cousins had it off as well. We swapped our plane tickets and flew out of Denver Monday morning. We were greeted in Utah by a rain shower and green grass. It was so nice to see green and rain but my body just ached for it to be back in my home in Nebraska. We picked up a new used car- since a deer put our last one out of commission and drove it back on Friday.

The week was jam packed full of adventures
-Nelson's visit to Elwood
-Lunch and Play date with Hazel & Poppy
-Taught an beginning Organ class
-Farming with Tim & Laurie in Hansel Valley
-Hogal Zoo
-Hot Dog Roast Party with a lot of the Baxter Crew
-Hair Cut
-Case lot sale shopping
-Feeding cows with Matt
and I'm sure I've missed something. Thanks to all those who spent part of their spring break with us! It sure was a memorable visit back to my roots.

Chauncey wasn't sure what to think of rocks verse the sand in Nebraska.

**My photography goal for the year it to get pictures of my immediate family members in their element, I captured a few this visit- a lot more to still capture**

Jordan.... Always sporting the 'A' Go Aggies!

Papa John

Cowboy Matt.... The first one to teach me to love cows and horses

Chauncey was in LOVE with the meow meow

Cinch helped Papa John get some digging in.

Chauncey doesn't look like a baby anymore! Sometimes it's sad when they grow up.
