Daniel's 27th Birthday

We were lucky to celebrate Daniel's 27th Birthday on Friday the 17th.

It had been a long week, 4 brandings that week with 2 back to back on our unit so Cinch and I had been up way too early two days in a row.

At the branding luncheon they brought out balloons for Daniel and everyone sang to him.

I believe it was the 1st time I've ever seen him get embarrassed and turn red.

After the branding we headed to move cows and didn't get in until 6. It was a LONG day.

Luckily the UPS man was delivering the birthday present as we pulled in.

Cinch was overly excited for Daniel to open his present.

TOOLS! Yea, not cowboy gear- but he'll love us when it's -20* this winter and he is having to change tires on the hay feeder this winter.

After the present was unwrapped Cinch decided it needed to snow so he could make snow angels. 

Earlier in the week, I was smart and bought cupcakes at the store so I wouldn't be trying to make a cake that night. 

We had birthday dinner on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day as well.
