Why we went to Florida Fall Semester

Many people have asked "Why didn't you go to Florida Daniel's last semester and during the cold winter?" A valid question... We would have LOVED to spend time in Florida when it wasn't 100% humidity.. but before we even new that we would do an internship in Florida we agreed to watch after my parents house while they were on their mission in Africa. The most important part of watching after their house is the sump pump. I had to come to the realization that it would be easier to leave my siblings to care for the fall yard work rather then having the sump pump not checked daily during spring thaw.

Because can you imagine what their basement would look like if it wasn't checked daily-- because it can look like this after being gone 12 hours.

Yep, this is why we went to Florida this fall.
