I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...

Well another week or so has past with many adventures. We put up our very first "Real" Christmas tree. Cinch helped lots. He actually has been really great with the Christmas decor and hasn't torn anything apart (yet). We spent a fun weekend in Twin Falls with Daniel's family and Grandparents. Good food, good company- not much more you could ask for. This week is the dreaded FINALS week.
Now we aren't speaking of the National FINALS rodeo that we wish we could watch- but yet College Finals. Daniel has been studying hard- finishing projects in hopes of good grades for Christmas. Monday Cinch & I headed to the Airport to say Good-bye to my parents. With all the luggage and aLOT of weight distribution trying to make the new weight limits we finally got them and 7 pieces of baggage checked in! Our diaper bag also went to the cause in the need of another carry-on bag! No better place or use it could have gone to. They left at 2:50pm Monday and should be arriving around 11:00 tonight. TOO many hours on planes and in airports. We are all anxiously awaiting word that they made it ok and all is well.

Other good news is Cinch (and Daniel) got their first Christmas present. A puppy... Daniel has been dying to get a dog since he hasn't had one for 2 1/2 years. So a new addition to our family. No name yet.

Tonight we went to my Grandma's Christmas party. It was really nice and fun to be with the elderly people and their families. They fed us a yummy dinner, Christmas carols (the first time in my life I have heard my Grandma sing them) and Santa even came to visit. She looked so great and happy to see us. Her dementia was good today- she knew us and was so thrilled to have us there.

I have been substituting for the past three days and Cinch is ready to have me at home!! Other good news is that we have free pasture for at least another month!! I was looking on Craig's list last week and found 4 acres a guy wanted grazed off for free. GREAT for us. So after finals today Daniel and Kyle busily put up electric fence so we can get them over there and stop feeding hay.

All we could hope for now is a White Christmas!!
