"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

October 19th

This past week has been full of lots of memories and very eventful. We started out Sunday with the 1st snowfall of the season- Cinch didn't know what to think of the snowflakes landing on his head as we left church. My sister Barbie's family from Arizona had just arrived and the kids were so happy to see if snow but so mad at their mom for not packing their snow clothes.

(What our daughters will look like!!)

Monday Daniel headed back to work and school. He had an extra long day as he was studying for a midterm the next day. We met my family for a FHE night of bowling and celebrating my brother-in-law Jeffrey's birthday. Daniel beat me at bowling but it was really fun. Josie & I had also made Jeffrey a Harley cake and it was good eating! I played my last soccer game and that rounded out our busy day.

(At the bowling alley)
Tuesday Daniel skipped his first class to study for his BIG midterm. Cinch & I headed to Logan with him. Cinch had his 9 month Dr appointment. He was 21 lbs and 28.75 inches. After lunch with Daniel we headed to my sisters house to wait for Daniel to get done with school. I got 75% of Cinch's Christmas and birthday shopping done!! That night my old roommates watched Cinch as Daniel and I met my 3 sisters - 2 brothers (plus spouses) and my parents for a "last" family temple session before the mission. It was great to be in the beautiful temple.

(At the Dr office Cinch decided to use the rollie chair as his walker)

Wednesday we started getting my parents packed for CONGO. My sister Barbie was kinda put in charge of packing and she got 'er done. It was a busy day but glad Barbie did the dirty work!

Thursday Daniel went to work all day because school was out for the week. Cinch & I went with my friend Jeanie & baby Coulter to Logan to run errands. Later that night a bunch of our friends got together for a bbq. Cinch decided to be the center of attention and stole all the attention.

Friday I was lucky enough to go with Daniel for the day. Cinch stayed with Grandma & Josie for the day(thanks). Daniel had me up and at 'em early. We picked cows up in Blacksmith Fork Canyon- shipped steers to Colorado- rode 7+ miles in South Canyon looking for cows- roped and loaded a bull and I think that rounded out a great day. It felt so good to be horse back and to have a break from everyday life.

Because Daniel had a break at school Saturday I requested that we do something- anything to make it seem like a break- so we headed to SLC to go to the zoo. While Cinch did enjoy it - it was really fun just to be together for the day and look at all the cool animals. We headed back for a family Halloween party and ended up a great weekend.

We are getting excited for Daniel to head to Florida this next week and for Cinch's top teeth to come in further! Oh, we also found out today that my mom & dad's departure day has been moved from Nov. 17 to Dec. 1st--- They will get to spend Thanksgiving with the family.

Your family is so cute! I'm happy that I found your blog. I hope it's okay that I added you to my friend list. It's great to see how you are doing. I especially liked the video of Cinch on the trampoline. What a cutie!

Daniel & Jesse Mae it's great to see your little family. You guys are sure busy! Cinch is a cutie, he kind of looks like Emma, with the flower headband, but I can tell it's a boy (I thinks he looks so much like Dalton). Anyway, Take Care
