"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Library Time

As a family we love the library. Our boys get so excited to go and find new books to take them on adventures. Everywhere we've lived, even our 2 weeks in KS, the library has treated us well.
Our closet library only is a small room inside the city building, but luckily we can use the same cards at the county library about 20 minutes away. Thursday nights we love to make it for craft time and check out new books.
This has helped Cinch's reading as our books at the house get old and he can only bring one home from school every week. So we load up on lots of different books at the library. When I was substituting it was great as well. I could usually read 2-3 books a week, between my breaks at school.

As a family we have started reading aloud, the Magic Tree House series at bedtime. The boys (even Chauncey) won't go to sleep without hearing what adventure Jack and Annie are going on.

This library even issued the boys their own cards. They can each check out 5 books on their cards. They enjoy taking their own stack of books and card up to the desk all by themselves. I just hope their love for reading will continue for many years.
