Cinch is playing soccer and loving it. And well, I'm having a great time watching him play my favorite sport. He can run really fast and gives it all his heart. It's been great to have him be active 2 nights a week for practice and game on Saturdays. Being in such hot state, it's been a hard adjustment for Cinch to not have 2+ recess in the day and ranch chores after school. Soccer's been a great organized activity to help him be happier.
At the beach he takes his boogie board out to the big waves and as long has he doesn't get rolled around in the waves he stays out swimming a long time. Digging in the sand feels like "home" in Nebraska, and could spend all day digging if we'd let him.
School has been a really hard adjustment, such a strict schedule, no music, art, FUN PE, or friends like Nebraska. This is Cinch's 4th school, through all of his speech years. He is working really hard to learn Texas Math and their reading program. I just wish the school and district put the kids first instead of a $ sign on everything.
