Oh how I love the month of June for branding season. Being my 5th year cooking I wasn't too nervous, besides the fact I was cooking for 2 separate branding days. Chauncey is big enough to go, and the fact that we most likely won't see brandings next year, we went as a family to 90% of all the brandings. Which meant leaving the house usually by 3:30 am. Daniel would go saddle horses, I'd get breakfast to go, finish packing toys and snack. Wake the boys up, get them dressed, carry them to the truck and they would usually wake up 15-30 minutes before our destination to eat breakfast.
Brandings were a blast with fun new employees and interns that know how to have a great time.
We had tie Tuesday, Wig Wednesday, Ugly sweater days, casual Fridays. The boys would play with friends, or themselves depending on the day. Cinch roped at a few brandings.

I usually take over 1000 pictures during branding so its so hard to limit what to post. For our meal I did my usual Navajo Tacos- For Chris' meal I did cheeseburgers. I was worried about kitchen help since I am on a new part of the ranch. My prayers were answered as the new accountants wife helped me so much both days.
