Youth Temple Trip

March 10th we were able to go to the temple with the YM and YW in Denver. A 4 1/2 hour- one way drive for them to do baptisms.
It was the first time for the YM to be able to go and the first time in like 2 years for the YW to go.
It was really cool as Daniel had 2 new deacons that just made the cut off to attend. Many of the youth hadn't seen a temple before and their parents have not been sealed. So, it was a big day to try and implement the temple in their lives.

We left Saturday morning at 8 and got their an hour early so I could go to initatiories- and then Daniel went in with the youth and was able to do their confirmations.
It was our first time to the Denver temple. It's a pretty small temple but busy on a Saturday. I joked with Daniel as there were many families playing outside while their parents took turns- that someone could make a killing on babysitting so people could go to the temple together.

Cinch was a little confused/grumpy that we weren't going to Dalton & Emma's temple or Carli's temple or Hazel's temple. I think he had it in his mind he was going to see his cousins - because anytime we went to the temple last year- he got to play with his cousins.

After Daniel finished with the youth, we grabbed a quick dinner, went to Ikea and Sam's and by that time it was 8:30 with 4 1/2 hours ahead of us- plus a time change I quickly scratched off any other stores I wanted to go to.

It was a great day- but we sure do miss have a temple so close...
