"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

... 4 ...

Cinch celebrated his 4th birthday on the 3rd.
I can hardly believe he is that old already.
He was super excited to celebrate his birthday especially
because Christmas was over.

He woke up to lot of balloons and 2 big boxes wrapped with his presents inside.

Whenever we talked about his birthday he just said he wanted the Cars 2 birthday cake at the store.
Well he didn't get the one at the store but a Cars 2 cake was made. We invited a few of the ranch families to come help us celebrate with cake and ice cream. Cinch was nice and let his friends help blow out the candles on the 3 lighting of them.
Anytime the phone would ring on Cinch's birthday he was forsure it was someone else calling to sing to him. He LOVED everyone calling.

It seems this 4 year old birthday has helped him grow up.
His separation anxiety has greatly diminished the past 2 weeks.
He is in total love with his best friend (Chauncey)
and is so concerned about him and loves to hold and play with him.
Cinch can now ride his horse by himself while out moving cows, we don't keep ahold of the lead rope.
Him and his dogs bring up the rear and do a great job at that. He recently learned what "loping" was and it's his new thrill ride to lope around, trotting is just too slow.

It makes he feel old that Cinch is four, rather than the fact we now have 2 kids.
But either way- we love our boys. We are lucky to have them both.
