"What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." --- George Eliot

Happy 46th

Our first week in Utah was filled with much fun.
-Time spent with the Nelson Girls (and Gordon)
-Play Date with Hazel
-Colter's Birthday Party & Cars 2
-Playing at Grandma Dixie/Papa John's and having cement to ride his bike.
-Playing the AZ Barton Cousins
and I'm sure I'm forgetting lots more.

But Sunday July 17th was a BIG Day for the Baxter Family
It was my parents 46th Anniversary/ 46th Birthday for our Family.
It's crazy to think my parents have been married that long!
My dad had Bishop meetings for most of the day, so when I was
talking with my mom about what they could do, I suggested to take a ride on Papa John's Bike.
She had never ridden on it- but Dad came home from meetings and wasn't sure
he was a good enough driver for the 2 of them yet.
With a little persuasion we got them off to celebrate 46 years together.
Archibalds had come to visit and so we sat on the front steps watching their head lights to make sure everything was okay. As they were with in a mile from the house I told Josie, it's too bad we don't have sparklers, like we were sent away with on our wedding nights. Well she took off running because there were sparklers in the garage, we found the lighter and quickly lit the sparklers at they drove in.

It was a special night for sure. Happy 46th mom and dad! We love you!

And Cinch and Hazel were being totally silly.
